Good rod, but needs a little shorter handle
I bought this rod because I don't like the way most new rod handles are designed. I like having a cork grip and I especially like having the grip in front of the reel which most new rods have eliminated. So when I saw this rod, I thought it was perfect for me, overall I like the rod, I just wish it had a little shorter (about an inch) handle behind the reel and that added inch went back to the length of the rod. I use this rod for casting and plugging for stripers and the long handle makes it a little difficult for me to reel. I would definately recommend this rod if you don't mind a long handle.
