Good 30 degree Sleeping Bag
I when camping this weekend with my Scout Troop. I took this sleeping bag and my Coleman 0 degree sleeping bag (just in case). The first night it went down to 30 degrees and no problems. On Saturday night (3 AM) it when down to 20 degrees and I had to change to my Coleman Sleeping bag. I was using a fleece bag liner and blue foam mat and Therma-Rest Trail-Lite inflatable. I was wearing wool/poly thermal underwear (top/bottom) and poly long sleeve shirt. With another sweat shirt I could have probably continued to use the bag but I decided to just get warm.
I really like to compression of this sleeping bag and its light weight. For backpacking it is a great low cost starter bag. I just think the 20 degree rating is not quite true.
I am 5'10" and this sleeping bag is OK for me but if you are taller it might be too short for you.

Light but not as warm as claims
Scrunches down pretty small and is light weight, but definitely not a 20 degree bag. If you're using this below 40 degrees you may need a liner.
hiking newbie
Being new to the hiking world, I didn't want to spend a lot of money on gear. So, after tons of reviews I decided to give the Ledge Featherlite +20 at try. The bag is very compact and fit in the bottom compartment of by pack perfectly. It also comes with it own compression sack. We took a 3 day, 2 night, 24 mile hike on the AT for our first trip. The first night the temp was in the 60's. I'll admit that I was worried this bag might be too warm for the temp but I was wrong. The bag kept me warm without suffocating me. The second night it rained and our tent had some leaks. I was convinced I was going to be sleeping in a soggy mess. And again I was wrong. The rain was coming in from the top seams of the tent above me and my bag. The bag held up great and I was dry all night! What a nice surprise and a great deal!
