Very High Quality Three Season Down Sleeping Bag
The Marmot Hydrogen +30 Down Sleeping Bag is a high quality 850+ fill goose down three season bag. While many sleeping bags are a bit judicious on their temperature rating this bag is truly a solid 30 degree bag. I tend to sleep cold but this bag has performed exactly as advertised and I have not been disappointed. For nights that dip below 30 degrees I add a Sea to Summit Reactor Thermolite Sleeping Bag Liner which is advertised to provide an additional 15 degrees of warmth but in reality provides about 10 degrees extra warmth. The Marmot Hydrogen bag is the perfect balance between weight, compressibility, warmth and comfort.
The Marmot Hydrogen weighs 1.5 pounds, compacts down very small and comes with a stuff sack and a storage sack. I have yet to find any cold spots. The zippers work very well but I am always cautious to prevent any snagging. It is a mummy style bag therefore it is snug as expected.
