I am very happy with the reel it holds a ton of line, the drag is smooth and it works great for top water and for my down rigger

bubbling in finish
the finish on the handle side has lots of air bubbles that will become rust spots after bursting from normal use. if return postage was free i would have returned it for an exchange because of the defect.but ak. shp. rates are too high to make it worth the bother.on the positive side the reel was reasonably priced and the mechanics are simple and will be easy to maintain and service. it's just disappointing to open a pkg. and not see a perfect product inside
