decent low cost system
I purchased this scope and added the aim sports red dot along with it, its not a bad system looks very cool. Unfortuately it does not hold long range zero well after repeated firing probable due to the quick release mounting.
This was mounted on a ar15, so not subject to extrordinary recoil, I found I would have to re-zero sights after 100 rounds, this was sighting at 100 yards. Laser worked well, very bright, and could be seen clearly at 100 yards, allthough accuracy here also an issue.
Update 10/25 Contacted AimSports, about issues and also a loose fitting adjustment cap. They were very helpfull and sent a new "set" of adjutment caps, they also offered to replace mount, but I had allread fixed the problem, by modifying the the cam lever to be permanantly attatched instead of screw (welded the bolt to plate. Seems the metal is a little on the soft side and retightening of the locking cam bolt allowed wear that prevented the cam from keeping the scope tight to the rail...

Nice scope for the price
I use this scope on a h&k 416 .22 rifle and I have had no issues with it. It I accurate for me up to about 150 to 175 yards
Needs work
When I got my Aim sports scope everything looked good. I mounted it on my Rossi 45-70. Eye relief isn't as good as advertised but still usable. The green laser is junk, it quit working after the second time I turned it on (I had not even fired the rifle with it on yet). The mount would not stay on the rail. Recoil from a 45-70 is pretty harsh by most standards but I was using a light load and this mount would not stay clamped for even 1 shot. The red and green reticle and the scope itself is why it actually made it up to three stars. The scope without the laser or mount is a good scope. They just need to change the mount to a better one and get rid of the laser. Amazon was great handling my return.
