Great pad for car camping in the cold
Ignore the original reviewer, who ordered the WRONG pad and then gave it a low review score (idiot). This pad is great for car camping, sleeping on a cot or if you are out hunting. It only weighs 2 lbs 8 oz, and is much warmer than the insulated Air core pad, which is good for back packing. The whole Big Agnes sleep system is amazing. Don't just try their pads (which are less expensive than Expeds) try their sleeping bags too. Once you slip one of these pads in the sleeping bags pad sleeve you will never go back to a regular sleeping bag. With the pad and bag coupled you can't roll off the pad and when you twist and turn in your sleep the bag stays put! just like sleeping at home.

Very good pad
I just used this pad two nights ago in the Catskill Mountains of New York. This was January 29th at 3500 feet between Cornell and Slide mountains. The temperature outside the tent was hovering around 20 degrees before we went to bed and probably went down to about 15 at the coldest. I think inside the tent (which we set up on about 3 inches of snow) it was around 20-25. The pad took less time to inflate than the other reviewers said. It took me less than 5 minutes - about 15 good breaths. I also used a thermarest ridgerest solar pad underneath just for insurance, but I doubt that I even needed it. I used the dual core with a long Big Agnes Storm King 0 degree 650 fill down bag (I also bought the long pad so my feet wouldn't stick out over the end). The pad fits perfectly into the pad compartment of the bag and stays put. Sliding into the sleep system (as Big Agnes calls it) I could tell that it wouldn't matter too much what was beneath me - rocks, roots, etc. The 2.5 inches of the...
Keeps a Wide Load Off the Deck
OK, so it's not self inflating. But, this is an awesome sleeping pad. Not only does it keep me warm and dry, but it smooths out even the roughest terrain. I like this as much as any of the self-inflating uberpads that I own.
