Nice lightweight way to add significant warmth
I recently used this sleeping bag liner on a 3-day backpacking trip in the mountains of central Pennsylvania, on the Black Forest Trail. The evening temps were in the low to mid 30s, and I had a 40-degree synthetic mummy bag. Sleeping under only a tarp, I knew I would need to add something to this sleeping bag because I didn't want to bring a heavier(and more bulky) bag, but I didn't want to freeze either. This liner actually exceeded my expectations as far as additional warmth is concerned. I wore only a thin base layer while I slept, and I was quite warm.
My sleeping bag (Marmot minimalist) does not accommodate it, but this liner has snaps to keep it in place in bags that support that kind of thing. I'm not sure if it only works with Kelty bags. The only issue, and I suspect it would be the case with any liner, is that the liner would follow me out of the bag in the morning.

Great Liner but not sure I would use it as a lightweight sleeping bag.
The description said it could be used as a light sleeing bag but the fabric is to thin and slinky for that in my opinion. However, I think it will work great for wicking moister away in the sleeping bag and keeping it clean for longer periods of time and this is the reason I bought it.
